Booker not at PPV

It is unlikely that Booker T will be at Backlash. For this to happen, he would have to sign off on his Time Warner deal and sign with WWF basically today and that's not going to happen.

Booker's status

Reportedly, Goldberg, Booker T, Scott Steiner, Ric Flair, and Diamond Dallas Page have spoken to the WWF about joining them. As established on several occasions, the only way they will be able to join WWFE would be to settle on a contract of a much lesser pay to join the new WCW. Time Warner is offering them from 30 to 50% of their current contracts to buy out, and to let them work for WCW.

Shane Helms mentions Booker in his latest entry.

Congrats are in order to my man Booker T. on his latest WCW Heavyweight Title win. Booker is one of my favorite people and wrestlers in this entire business! Also congrats to Jeff Hardy on his win over HHH for the IC Title. Both Jeff and HHH are two of the best in the world!

Booker to interfer in Shane's Match?

A lot of speculation has been made on whether or not any WCW wrestlers would be present at the Backlash pay-per-view this weekend. It was first announced that no WCW wrestlers would be in attendance at the WWF pay-per-view but it is now looking as if Shane McMahon will bring a WCWer with him to the event to help him in his Last Man Standing Match with Big Show. The top candidates are Mike Awesome or Booker T.
